AltaPointe Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse to support the Adult Residential Services with medication administration and clinical care. You will work in group-home settings, ensuring safety and quality of care for adults with serious mental illness.

You will deescalate crises, provide essential nursing services, and document care per policy. A valid LPN license and Alabama nursing practice credentials are required.

Formación

• Active LPN license in Alabama.
• Experience in residential mental health care preferred.
• Ability to administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Proficient in nursing documentation and coordination with medical staff.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications, observing the Seven Rights of medication administration.
• Provides medication education to consumer and family.
• Reviews MARs and coordinates with medical staff for prescriptions.
• Identifies medical needs and communicates with physicians; completes consults.
• Maintains infection control and complies with Nurse Delegation Program.
