Job summary

Noland Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care to residents in Alabama in accordance with care plans and nursing standards.

This role includes supervising CNAs, documenting care, and communicating with physicians and families. The ideal candidate will hold an Alabama LPN license, have CPR certification within 30 days, and prefer at least 1 year of healthcare facility experience.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Alabama required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• 1 year of health facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care according to care plan and nursing standards.
• Admit/transfer/discharge residents; inform staff as needed.
• Direct Nursing Assistants and report concerns to the Resident Care Coordinator.
• Document per policies; chart nursing notes legibly.
• Transcribe/check physician orders and administer meds as ordered.
• Complete shift assessments and communicate changes to staff.
• Coordinate with physicians, residents, and families on care.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
