Job summary

Noland Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct resident care in accordance with the care plan and nursing standards at our Alabama facility.

This role requires accurate documentation, timely communication with physicians and families, and adherence to policies. A current Alabama LPN license and CPR certification are required, with 1 year of healthcare facility experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Alabama.
• 1 year health care facility experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required and inform staff.
• Regularly check residents to observe and evaluate status.
• Direct Nursing/Resident Care Assistants and report concerns.
• Document according to policies and regulations.
• Chart nurse’s notes reflecting care and resident responses.
• Report discrepancies and issues to the Resident Care Coordinator.
• Transcribe and verify physician orders.
• Administer and document medications per orders.
• Complete resident assessments on each shift.
• Communicate pertinent clinical information to staff and physicians.
