Job summary

Meeting House Lane Medical Practice, PC is seeking a part-time LPN to join a clinical team for 15 hours per week in a remote office setting. The role requires nursing skills, clinical judgment, and adherence to practice guidelines under supervision of a physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or physician.

The ideal candidate holds a New York State LPN license, has vascular experience, at least 1 year of professional experience, CPR/AED certification, and familiarity with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in the exam room and document the reason for visit.
• Measure patients' height, weight, blood pressure, pulse and temperature.
• Perform hearing and vision tests; do spirometry and EKGs.
• Enter/update patient information in the EMR.
• Assist physician with procedures and examinations.
• Collect blood and lab specimens as requested by the physician.
• Prepare and administer vaccines and medications on physician's orders.
• Obtain results from outside labs, radiology and other doctors' offices.
• Provide patient education for treatments, medications, diets and physician instructions.
• Stock rooms with medical supplies and medications; inventory and order supplies.
• Call patients when ordered by the physician.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Complete other tasks as directed by physician.
• On-site training required to start.

Job Summary

We are looking for a remoteLPN to work 15 hours per week at an office setting which requires specialized knowledge, clinical judgment and nursing skills. Physical Demands

May spend a great deal of their professional day walking, standing, moving and manipulating equipment, as well as lifting and moving objects, equipment and supplies. Ability to lift 20 pounds. Moving, lifting or transferring of patients or objects may involve lifting of up to 50 pounds, as well as assist with weights of more than one-hundred (100) pounds. Requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend or twist their body, as well as visual acuity.

Shift Days

Tags 15 hours per week. Looking for a motivated, organized self-starter to lead the clinical staff. Good communication skills, quick learner, adaptable to change.

Salary Range $26.98-$33.69 per hour
