Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking dedicated nurses to join Alden of Huntley, a modern rehabilitation and nursing facility. RN or LPN license in IL/WI required, CPR certification, and ability to supervise nursing assistants will be needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN or LPN license in IL or WI.
• Current CPR certification or obtain within two weeks.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Interest in care of the aged and elderly.
• Clear reading, writing and speaking of English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills with patients, families and staff.
• Demonstrates leadership and supervisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants per policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards and facility policies.
• Plan and participate in patient care conferences and care planning.
• Oversee nursing procedures and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate medication administration and treatments as ordered.
• Maintain warm, calm, and respectful atmosphere in the department.
• Attend continuing education and participate in orientation and training.
