Spalding Rehabilitation, part of Presbyterian St. Luke's Rehab, is seeking an LPN in a rehab setting in Colorado. You will join a team of nurses and healthcare professionals dedicated to patient-centered care and family-focused service.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in CO as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• BLS – Healthcare provider from AHA/ARC.
• IV Certification.
• Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.
• One year's acute care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team.
• Ability to work in a team to ensure quality patient care.
• Strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing services and procedures based on knowledge of biological, physical, behavioral, psychological, and sociological sciences.
• Follow standardized procedures in observation and care of the ill, injured, and infirm; maintain health; safeguard life and health; administer medications and treatments as prescribed by authorized personnel.
• Be directly accountable to the patient for the quality of nursing care rendered.

What you will do in this role:

Since 1968, Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital has been in the business of rebuilding lives and renewing hope by offering intensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs, tailored specifically to patients needs. Our 42-bed licensed rehabilitation hospital, along with our rehab unit at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center (PSL), specializes in treatment of conditions such as: stroke, brain injury, neurologic conditions, orthopedic injuries, spine injuries, amputations, and other disabling medical conditions. Spalding hosts the only dedicated Controlled Stimulation Unit for brain injury in the state of Colorado.
