Job summary

HCA HealthONE is seeking an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to help patients regain strength and independence after illness or injury. You will work as part of a dynamic rehabilitation team, providing compassionate care during typically two to three week stays and coordinating with nurses, therapists, and physicians to achieve patient goals.

• Current licensure in the State of CO as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
• BLS healthcare provider certification from AHA/ARC is required.
• IV certification preferred.
• Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.

• Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor vital signs and neurological status and respond quickly.
• Document progress and functional ability to guide care planning.
• Educate patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver high-quality care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. With average stays of two to three weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness the difference your care makes in a patient’s progress. You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives every day.

Your responsibilities will include

• Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence
• Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly
• Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination
• Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques
• Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care

What qualifications you will need

• Current licensure in the State of CO as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• BLS – Healthcare provider from AHA or ARC.
• IV Certification preferred.
• Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program.
• One year's experience in acute care is preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
• The ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
