Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Regional Float Pool Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) to provide bedside nursing across multiple hospital facilities in the region. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for adults and geriatrics in Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, Oncology, and more, while floating between facilities.

Ideal candidates hold a practical nursing diploma and active LPN licensure, with 1 year Med/Surg bedside experience (2 years for specialty units).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with current LPN licensure.
• Minimum 1 year bedside Med/Surg; 2 years for specialty units.
• BLS; ACLS, PALS, IV certification required for certain specialties.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities Include

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in various units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, Oncology, and more.
• Floating between designated facilities, delivering high-quality patient care, and adapting to diverse clinical environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and current LPN licensure in the state.
• Minimum of one year recent bedside experience for Med/Surg; two years for specialized units.
• Certifications include BLS; ACLS, PALS, and IV certification required for certain specialties.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform patient care tasks.
