Aura Health is seeking a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) for a Regional Float Pool to provide consistent nursing care across multiple healthcare facilities. The role requires evaluating and adjusting care plans for adult and geriatric patients while floating through Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, Oncology, and Behavioral Health units.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license with at least one year in bedside Med/Surg; two years for specialized units.

Qualifications

Active LPN license required.
One year bedside LPN experience in Med/Surg; two years for ED/ICU.
IV certification required.
BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred for certain specialties.

Role

Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) in a Regional Float Pool, providing care across multiple healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients based on nursing standards. Float between facilities, working in diverse units such as Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, Emergency, Oncology, and Behavioral Health. Build clinical assessment and communication skills, collaborate with varied teams, and adapt to dynamic environments.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an active LPN license. Minimum of one year bedside LPN experience in Med/Surg; two years for specialized units like ED or ICU. Certifications include BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred for certain specialties. IV certification required.

Skills

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical demands of nursing. Flexibility, strong communication, and clinical assessment skills are essential.
