Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Regional Float Pool. This role provides individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities, with night shifts and rotating assignments.

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Active LPN license in state of employment.
• Minimum one year bedside LPN experience for Med/Surg; two years for ED or ICU.
• BLS certification; ACLS and PALS; IV certification as applicable.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and turn patients (up to 50 pounds).

The position involves floating between designated hospitals in the East Region, working primarily night shifts.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; collaborate with diverse healthcare teams; adapt to various units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, Oncology, and more; maintain compliance with nursing standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN license in the state of employment
• Minimum of one year recent bedside LPN experience for Med/Surg; two years for specialties like ED or ICU
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, IV certification as applicable
