Job summary

Good Samaritan Woodland in Brainerd, MN, a 42-bed long-term skilled care facility, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN shifts. The role includes night and weekend shift differentials and a holiday rotation to support a compassionate, Christian environment.

You will provide professional nursing care under supervision, assess residents, administer medications, and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and monitor patient status.
• Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care provided.
• Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
