Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will administer medications, perform assessments, and implement care plans for residents.

The role requires 3 months of LTC experience (6 months preferred), graduation from an accredited LPN program, and VA/CEU updates as needed. Travel to support multiple locations within a 75-mile radius is part of the position.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred)
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• If IV therapy is required, North Dakota-specific requirement may apply

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision of RN, APP or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; document outcomes and care plans.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and healthcare teams; maintain confidentiality.

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree

Associate degree in Practical Nursing (preferred)
