Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care for residents in long-term care settings. You will work under supervision with physicians, RNs, and therapists to carry out care plans and document outcomes.

Requires a completed practical nursing program, current LPN licensure, and ongoing CEU/competency training. Travel to facilities within a 75-mile radius is expected; shifts include 30+ hours monthly and at least one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• If IV therapy/management is required in North Dakota, complete Board-approved IV therapy training or an approved IV course.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current unencumbered LPN license and ongoing CEU/competency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under supervision in long-term care.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the care team to ensure quality care.
• Support an interdisciplinary team to meet resident care plans.
