, under supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles
and applies age-appropriate standards to meet residents' physical and psychosocial needs based on care plans.
- Performs testing, evaluates data, and responds effectively in emergent situations
- Ensures residents' health, comfort, and safety while administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes accurately
and collaborates with healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Communicates clearly, maintains confidentiality, and counsels residents and families on care and prevention.
Qualifications Include
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing Board or multi-state licensure
- Experience or clinical hours in diverse settings, with additional IV therapy skills preferred
- Completion of required continuing education and certifications
