Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to provide professional resident care in long-term settings under supervision. You will administer medications, conduct assessments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet residents' physical and psychosocial needs as per care plans.

The role emphasizes testing, data evaluation, emergent response, and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing Board or multi-state licensure.
• Experience or clinical hours in diverse settings, with additional IV therapy skills preferred.
• Completion of required continuing education and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality resident care, medication management, and resident education.
• Work effectively within a team as part of an interdisciplinary group.
• Perform testing, evaluate data, and respond effectively in emergent situations.
