Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Miami is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home pediatric care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process, delivering skilled services per orders on each assignment.

Requirements include an active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state, current TB/Chest X-ray and BLS certification. Prior 1 year nursing experience preferred; Maxim offers competitive pay, benefits, and employee programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed as LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• TB test or chest X-ray current.
• BLS certification current.
• One year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
