Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in practical or vocational nursing as approved by the state.
• Minimum one-year experience as an LPN/LVN in primary care or ambulatory care; government VA experience preferred.
• Must be credentialed and in good standing with the VA and hold a valid, unrestricted license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care, exams, and routine nursing assessments.
• Administer medications as ordered and document in the EMR.
• Operate EKG and other diagnostic equipment for routine tests and treatments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide patient education.
