CSL Plasma in Olympia, WA seeks qualified healthcare professionals to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis and provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff. You will interview donors, review medical histories, and determine eligibility based on test results, with escalation to the Center Medical Director as needed.

The role requires CPR certification and a healthcare background (paramedic, nursing, PA, or related medical training).

Qualifications

• Graduation from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic medical training program.
• If graduation is from a foreign medical school, licensure or state certification may be required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures under general supervision.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews to determine donation suitability.
• Coordinate with Center Medical Director to answer questions on donor suitability.
• Review test results and determine continued donor suitability; assess donor symptoms.
• Notify and counsel donors regarding reactive test results and refer for follow-up.
