Job summary

CSL Plasma in Norman, Oklahoma is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support donor care and plasma collection operations. The role requires evaluating donor suitability, administering limited emergency care, and maintaining SOP-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of relevant health care experience.
• Current nursing, paramedic, or related licensure per state requirements.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff including administering medication or treatments per licensure.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews to determine suitability to donate plasma.
• Consult with Center Medical Director on medical questions and donor suitability.
• Review test results and determine continued donor suitability; assess donor symptoms.
• Notify and counsel donors regarding reactive test results; refer to community facilities for follow-up.
• Provide routine care following SOPs; escalate critical medical situations to Center Physician or local providers as required.
