Qualifications

• Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma.
• Manage donor adverse events and notify unsuitable donors.
• Evaluate donor reactions and support medical emergencies.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Current licensed LPN or LVN

Current CPR and AED certification

Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy

Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
