Job summary

EPIC Healthcare in Edison, NJ is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for per diem, all shifts with at least every other weekend. The role involves supervising day-to-day patient care, monitoring vitals, dressing changes, and documentation to ensure quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a New Jersey LPN license and a High School Diploma or equivalent, with LTC/SNF experience preferred and ability to work in Edison, NJ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid LPN in New Jersey.
• Must be able to work in Edison, New Jersey.
• Previous LTC/SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day patient care.
• Monitor basic patient health such as vital signs and overall condition.
• Change dressings or insert catheters.
• Take patient histories and maintain documentation.
• Assist with tests or procedures.
• Provide personal care, such as helping with bathing and toileting.
• Report to the Nursing Supervisor or as directed to ensure quality patient care.
• Other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator.
