Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver patient care under physician direction in a team-based setting in Ohio. You will prepare and assess patients for provider visits and monitor responses to care during appointments.

The role requires collaboration with physicians, adherence to LPN scope of practice, and accurate documentation. BLS and Ohio LPN licensure are required or pending; prior clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN licensure in Ohio or eligible for licensure
• BLS certification required or within 90 days of start
• One year of clinical patient care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and health care team to meet patient needs
• Provides direct basic nursing care per LPN scope of practice
• Assists with procedures, treatments and patient care during visits
• Labels and packages specimens as trained
• Acts as chaperone for health care providers during examinations
