Job summary

Villa at Pine Place is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The LPN provides licensed care to residents under physician orders, while following facility, federal, state, and local standards.

You will finish shifts with clear nursing reports and maintain clean, safe care areas. The role includes administering medications, recording vital signs, transcribing orders, and supporting care plan reviews.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Provides and receives nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Ensures assigned work area (nurse station, medication cart, medication room, etc.) is maintained clean and sanitary.
• Directs and supervises day-to-day CNA services for the unit to assure care is rendered per standards.
• Provides resident assessments/observations and reviews care plans for appropriate care.
• Takes and records residents blood pressure and vital signs; administers catheter care and IV therapy as ordered.
• Receives and transcribes physician orders to charts, MAR, and care plans.
• Prepares and administers medications and performs treatments as ordered.
• Charts nurse notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Completes forms on admission, transfer, discharge.
• Ensures environment is free from hazards and addresses risks as warranted.
• Makes reports/recommendations on shift activities.
• Ensures care plans are implemented and maintained; makes recommendations for changes to IDT.
• All other duties as assigned.
