Job summary

Ivy Gables Senior Living in Delaware is seeking a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and provide skilled nursing care to residents. The role offers a $36.00/hour pay rate with shift differentials available, and a schedule of 32 hours per pay across Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, and EO holidays.

The LPN will supervise PCAs, assist with medication administration, rounds, and audits, and support the scheduler to ensure high-quality resident care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in Delaware is required.
• Experience in aging services is preferred.
• Strong supervisory and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments
• Monitors the medication and treatment cart, nurses' station, and medication room to ensure that expired medications are properly disposed of and narcotics are counted per policy and regulations
• Supports the scheduler in the scheduling function
• Makes daily round and audits, including shift report to ensure proper care, documentation, and order transcription to maintain high standards for this department.
• Assigns duties to PCAs and takes an active role in supervising, educating, and helping them develop.
