Job summary

Ivy Gables Senior Living in Delaware is seeking an LPN to provide professional nursing care, administer prescribed medications, and support daily rounds to ensure high-quality resident care. The role involves supervising PCAs, coordinating with the scheduler, and maintaining accurate documentation in a busy senior living environment.

The position offers part-time hours (32 per pay period) with a pay rate of $36.00/hour and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in Delaware.
• General working knowledge of aging services industry.
• Proven supervisory and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments.
• Monitors the medication and treatment cart, nurses' station, and medication room to ensure proper disposal of expired meds and narcotics counted per policy.
• Supports the scheduler in the scheduling function.

Schedule & Pay

• Part-time, 32 hours per pay,Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday
• EOW and EO Holiday required
• Pay rate: $36.00/hour, Shift Diff's available.

Job Description

• Provides professional nursing care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments
• Monitors the medication and treatment cart, nurses' station, and medication room to ensure that expired medications are properly disposed of and narcotics are counted per policy and regulations
• Supports the schedulerin the scheduling function
• Makes daily round and audits, including shift report to ensure proper care, documentation, and order transcription to maintain high standards for this department.
• Assigns duties to PCAs and takes an active role in supervising, educating, and helping them develop.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in the State of Delaware.
• General working knowledge of the aging services industry.
• Proven supervisory and leadership skills.
