Job summary

Ivy Gables Senior Living in Delaware seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate nursing care to residents, manage medications, and support a caring team on the night shift. This full-time role offers 60 hours per pay, four 12-hour shifts, with EOW and holiday requirements, at $36.00 per hour with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in the State of Delaware.
• General working knowledge of the aging services industry.
• Proven supervisory and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments.
• Monitors the medication and treatment cart, nurses' station, and medication room to ensure that expired medications are properly disposed of and narcotics are counted per policy and regulations.
• Supports the scheduler in the scheduling function.
• Makes daily rounds and audits, including shift report to ensure proper care, documentation, and order transcription to maintain high standards for this department.
• Assigns duties to PCAs and takes an active role in supervising, educating, and helping them develop.
