Job summary
B Positive Plasma LLC in Kentucky is seeking an experienced LPN/Paramedic to join our plasma donation team on-site. You will conduct donor examinations, review medical histories, and ensure compliance with SOPs, safety guidelines, and donor consent.
The role requires CPR/BLS, current state nursing or paramedic license, and strong customer service. Expect travel up to 25 miles for training, competitive pay plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Current nursing (LPN)/Paramedic license in good standing for state applying for.
- Current CPR, BLS certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent, associates, bachelors degree, or above.
Responsibilities
- Selection of suitable plasmapheresis donors by performing physical examinations and taking medical histories.
- Review donor data to confirm suitability and sign SPE/RPR results for ongoing participation.
- Assist with donor counseling, testing, and follow-up of employee exposures to blood or plasma.
- Provide confidential counseling to unacceptable donors.
- Provide appropriate level of care during donor reactions.
- Travel up to 25 miles for training or staffing needs.
