Job summary

B Positive Plasma LLC in Bloomfield, NJ seeks an experienced LPN or Paramedic to join our donation center team as we expand.

You will perform donor health assessments, document findings, and support counseling, testing, and donor safety. The role requires Monday–Friday availability, travel up to 25 miles for training, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Current LPN/Paramedic license in good standing for the state applying for.
Current CPR, BLS certification.
High school diploma or equivalent, associates, bachelors degree, or above (must provide documentation).
Ability to read and write English.
Phlebotomy experience a plus.
Basic proficiency in computer operations (Microsoft Word).
Legible handwriting.
Customer service skills.
Punctual, reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Selection of suitable plasmapheresis donors by performing physical examinations and taking medical histories on all donors.
Review donor data to confirm donor suitability and document acceptance or rejection.
Assist with donor counseling, testing, and follow-up of employee exposures.
Provide appropriate counseling to unacceptable donors.
Provide care during donor reactions (uncommon to moderate).
Assist in employee training as necessary.
Consult with Medical/Laboratory Director as required by policies.
Travel up to 25 miles for training or staffing needs.
Other duties as assigned.
