Job summary

Saint Therese at St. Mary of the Woods is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care 6:30 PM–7:00 AM. This role includes 72 hours per two-week pay period, with rotating holidays and competitive hourly pay of $28.25–$35.00.

You’ll support residents, administer medications, document care, supervise STNAs, and ensure quality, compliant care within a faith-based, mission-driven community.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing in Ohio.
• Current CPR certification.
• Completion of Ohio requirements for medication administration.
• Working knowledge of Ohio rules and healthcare regulations.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per care plans and orders.
• Safely administer medications and treatments; monitor responses.
• Complete accurate documentation in electronic health records.
• Communicate resident condition changes to Nurse Manager, providers, and family.
• Coordinate and supervise STNAs and care team members.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Promote a respectful, compassionate, person-centered environment.
• Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork daily.

Part-Time | Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Schedule: 6:30PM – 7:00AM | 72 hours or 48 hours per two-week pay period. Position includes part-time night shift with rotating holidays.

Pay: $28.25-35.00/hour *Same Day Pay Available*

We have three opportunities available for part-time LPN's working from 6:30pm - 7:00am. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who values meaningful connections, clinical excellence, and contributing to a supportive, team-driven environment.

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders
• Safely administer medications and treatments while monitoring resident response and effectiveness
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems
• Assess and communicate changes in resident condition to the Nurse Manager, providers, and family members, and assist with appropriate follow-up care
• Coordinate, oversee, and provide guidance to State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs)
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations
• Promote a respectful, compassionate, and person-centered care environment
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and strong customer service in daily practice

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing in the State of Ohio
• Current CPR certification
• Completion of Ohio requirements for medication administration
• Working knowledge of Ohio state rules and healthcare regulations
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with STNAs and care team members
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and professional work standards
• Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local health regulations, including required post-offer screenings
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

• IV certification
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living settings
