Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nursing staff.

The role requires a current NJ LPN license, active BLS/CPR, and prior LPN experience. Wound care, hyperbaric and outpatient experience are preferred. Competitive benefits are offered with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Practical Nurse license is required.
• Active BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• LPN experience is required.
• Wound care and hyperbaric experience are preferred.
• HBO experience is preferred.
• Outpatient experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report timely and accurate changes in the patient's condition and vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Follow the plan of care under the direction of the RN and assist with treatments and procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and interventions.
• Support patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, nutrition and activities of daily living.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic care environment.
