Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Inpatient Wound Care to join the team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will provide specialized wound care for adult and pediatric patients, collaborating with a team of providers to develop individualized care plans.

Minimum 2-3 years of wound care experience, an unrestricted NP license in the state, and Acute Care NP certification are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in wound care.
• Valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice.
• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required.

Responsibilities

• Per Diem Day Coverage, No weekends.
• Work with a team of providers who specialize in wound treatment.
• Provide personal and individualized care plans to adult and pediatric patients with non-healing chronic wounds.
• Utilize aggressive, evidence-based wound care treatment and management for selected conditions.
• Focus on healing chronic wounds, preserving limbs, and preventing wound recurrence.
