Job summary

Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community in Raleigh, NC seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the outpatient clinic team. You will assess residents, provide care per physician orders, and document all care in the EMR. Strong communication with providers, staff, residents, and families is essential.

Minimum 3 years of nursing experience is required; a Bachelor’s in Nursing is preferred. This on-site role supports a compassionate, teamwork-driven environment with adherence to Springmoor

Responsibilities

• Assess residents in and out of the clinic setting.
• Provide patient care per physician orders.
• Document care in the EMR.
• Communicate with providers, staff, patients and families.
• Refer complaints/messages to appropriate staff.
• Answer resident calls with appropriate information.
• Assist with rooming patients as per protocol.
• Maintain clinic exam rooms and work areas.
• Backup clinic secretary when needed.
• Follow Springmoor policies and procedures.
• Read and follow weather and fire safety plans.
• Performance reviewed after 90 days and annually by the Outpatient Services Director.
