Responsibilities

• Monitors patient care as delivered by CNAs in the Nursing Living Area.
• Performs episodic routine charting: observation, response to medications, and condition changes.
• Documents admissions, discharges, and transfers for residents.
• Checks each patient, notes condition changes, and follows up with appropriate action.
• Notifies supervisor, physician, and family of significant changes or injuries.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by physician.
• Oversees daily shift assignments to meet resident needs.
• Guides personnel and assesses health status changes in residents.
• Assists physician with rounds as needed.
