The Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for an onsite, 20-hour day shift at 850 Boylston Street. The role includes direct and indirect patient care under supervision, vital signs, medication administration, triage, and coordination with the healthcare team.

Benefits include paid time off, pension/cash balance eligibility, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new employees. LPN licensure in MA and graduation from an accredited LPN program are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
• Current LPN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support preferred.

Responsabilités

• Interviews patients about current problems, medications, and allergies, and reviews medical records for pertinent information.
• Measure and record patients' vital signs and perform screening exams as needed.
• Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as dressing wounds and performing routine procedures.
• Administer medications under supervision of a physician and RN.
• Communicate post-visit findings and coordinate care with clinical staff.
• Perform triage within the scope of LPN practice in a timely manner.
• Collect samples (blood, urine, sputum) and perform routine lab tests.
• Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
