Job summary
Bishop Gadsden is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as Assisted Living Nurse Manager. You will lead nursing staff, oversee resident care, and ensure regulatory compliance in a resident-centered community.
In this role, you will coordinate admissions, assessments and care plans, provide coaching, and drive staff development while maintaining excellence in documentation and collaboration with physicians, hospice, and family members.
Qualifications
- Current South Carolina LPN license in good standing.
- At least 1 year of experience in assisted living/long-term care.
- Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.
- Experience with EMR systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership and support to nursing and direct care staff.
- Oversee resident rounds and delivery of quality clinical care.
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, assessments and care planning.
- Ensure timely, accurate clinical documentation and physician order management.
- Lead staff education, training programs and competency development initiatives.
