Job summary

CommQuest Services in Canton, Ohio is seeking a full-time LPN Staff Nurse to join our Medication Assisted Treatment program. You will provide assessments, medications, and other medical treatment directed by your supervisor for clients suffering from addiction.

Work on a team delivering compassionate care, document nursing care via EHR, educate patients, and contribute to a supportive, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate's degree in Nursing is a plus.
• Current LPN license in the State of Ohio with no license restrictions.
• Experience with mental health/addictions and relevant systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and implement treatment plans, including detox admission.
• Educate patients on condition, medications, and treatment plan.
• Document nursing care via EHR under supervisory direction.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide best client care.
• All other duties as assigned.

What you'll do:

• Assess patient condition and implement treatment plans including assisting admission to detox unit
• Educate patients on condition, medication, and treatment plan
• Document nursing care via EHR . Implement nursing care under clinical supervision of the Director and Medical Doctor.
• Work and communicate effectively with Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Director, clinical staff, etc. to provide best client care.
• All other duties as assigned

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday - Friday 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM with rotational Saturdays. No Sundays or holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate's degree in Nursing is a plus!
• Minimum LPN currently licensed in the State of Ohio, with no current license restrictions
• Previous knowledge of mental health and/or addictions is required.
• Previous experience with systems such as Methasoft and Methadone pump required.
