Qualifications

• Current Tennessee LPN license or compact license that permits practice in Tennessee.
• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per physician orders and care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Observe, evaluate, and report changes in patient condition.
• Complete nursing documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, aides, patients, and families.
• Assist in implementing individualized plans of care.
• Provide direction to nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory policies.
