Job summary

Good Samaritan Albion is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care. The role requires working under supervision of a registered nurse or physician and delivering medications and treatments as ordered.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited LPN program credential, an active LPN license, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care within a Christian environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and become Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board and/or multi-state licensure.
• Completes required CEUs and department competencies annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision of a RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; ensure safety and quality of care.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes; communicate with care team.
• Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
