Job summary
Good Samaritan Albion, a not-for-profit organization, is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. The role works under supervision with nurses, physicians, and the care team to implement care plans and monitor residents’ health.
The LPN will administer medications, contribute to assessments, and document outcomes. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential to collaborate with residents,
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
- Must currently hold an unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board or multi-state licensure.
- Ability to perform testing, administer medications or treatments as ordered, and work within the care plan.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
- Demonstrate competency and knowledge across the full scope of nursing practice.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medications, behavior, activity, and diet.
- Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality; work with the interdisciplinary team.
