Job summary

Good Samaritan Albion is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver professional nursing care in long-term care settings, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. You will assess residents, administer medications, and contribute to care plans to ensure comfort and safety.

The role offers day shifts on a 40-hour workweek with a focus on quality care, ongoing education, and strong teamwork within a Christian, not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• IV therapy/management skills may be required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision of a RN or physician.
• Assess residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medications, behaviors, and diet.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with residents, families, and care team.
