Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern PA in Reading, PA seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality psychiatric care on night and third shifts. NEW GRADS WELCOME; competitive pay, shift differentials, and a $2,500 hiring bonus.

You will document care, administer medications, support patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced inpatient setting. Active LPN license and CPR certification required.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to work in high stress environments and assess potential for patient escalation.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with internal and external customers; be highly organized and culturally sensitive.
• Exhibits critical thinking and applies it for continuous improvement of patient care.
• Demonstrates confidence and conceptual thinking to lead and direct others.
• Must complete CPR certification and Oceans approved behavioral health de-escalation program.

Aufgaben

• Deliver nursing care to assigned patients by collecting data and reassessing per protocol.
• Document findings clearly in the patient record and communicate with healthcare team.
• Implement nursing interventions per treatment plan and physician orders.
• Perform bedside tasks including wound care and ADL assistance as needed.
• Assist with patient coping and adaptation during illness and stressors.
• Administer medications safely and educate patients on medications.
