Job summary

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern PA is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our psychiatric inpatient team. The role covers 7:00 am–3:30 pm with 4–8 hour shifts and weekend rotation, and welcomes new grads.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver nursing care, document findings, administer medications, and mentor new staff, in a Joint Commission-accredited facility that emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LVN/LPN license in the state of employment.
• Compact licenses are acceptable.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to a group of patients and reassesses per unit protocol.
• Documents findings in patient records and communicates with the care team.
• Implements care plans and administers medications as prescribed.
• Provides preceptorship and leadership to new staff.
• Performs other duties and Projects as assigned.
