Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, AL, seeks an LPN for day shift coverage on a 3x12 schedule (6:45 AM–7:15 PM) with every third weekend. The hospital offers comprehensive services across emergency, surgical, orthopedics, and more, with strong stroke and bariatric programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• Current Alabama nursing license renewed every two years.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates competency in advanced practical nursing skills and use of patient care/unit equipment as defined by unit specific requisite skills.
• Communicates appropriate information regarding the patient’s condition to the RN and other members of the healthcare team.
• Assists RN or provider during examinations and procedures.
• Documents patient data and education according to Baptist Health guidelines.
• Able to perform triage functions and determine next steps in care in collaboration with the nursing team.
