Recovery Network of Programs in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse to dispense methadone and suboxone, support physicians and treatment program staff. The role includes accurate documentation, taking home medication orders, and ensuring patient safety under supervision.

We require a current CT LPN license, flexibility for Saturday shifts, and a commitment to confidentiality and compassionate care.

Formación

• Current State of Connecticut Nurse's License required.
• Experience in methadone maintenance or similar substance abuse treatment preferred.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and take initiative.
• Strong communication and professional relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Dispenses, documents and reports all methadone/suboxone doses in accordance with approved nursing techniques and program policies.
• Maintains documentation and accurate count of medication prescribed by other providers that may interfere with methadone/suboxone.
• Prepares and accounts for prescribed take home medication orders.
• Verifies, updates, records and files doctors' orders, dosage levels and laboratory results in client records.
• Notifies supervisor or physician of client condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Participates in department's staff, treatment team, medication change meetings and in quality assurance and improvement activities.
• Obtains PPD record and/or administers PPD to clients and maintains record of results.
• Assumes all other appropriate duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
