Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current FL LPN licensure.
• Experience in mental health, substance abuse, or co-occurring treatment settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform nursing assessments.
• Refer to Attending Physician, Psychiatrist, or counseling staff as needed.
• Note physician orders, assist with labs and exams, and draw blood as required.
• Participate in nursing shift change reports for continuity of care.
• Document in client medical records per policy, licensing rules, and standards.
• Oversee daily client activities and provide clinical services when appropriate.
• In the absence of a Registered Nurse, act as shift supervisor for Human Services Technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Nursing Supervisor or Program Manager.
