Job summary

Lakeview Center in Florida is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide skilled nursing services to adults and patients in mental health and substance use care settings, under the supervision of a registered nurse or medical doctor.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, direct client care, and safety management, with a focus on integrated mental health and co-occurring services; CPR certification, computer literacy, and Florida LPN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Must have a valid Florida Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Must be able to perform CPI behavior management techniques with training.
• Must be able to provide integrated mental health and co-occurring services.
• Must be able to use a computer.
• Must be eligible to participate in Medicaid.
• Must pass state or federal background screenings.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services to adults and children under supervision.
• Conduct assessments and treatment planning; deliver direct client care.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and manage client risk and safety.
• Collaborate with RN/MD and multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
