Job summary

Avamere Living in Seaside, OR seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for memory care and assisted living. This part-time role offers 2–3 days per week, 8-hour shifts, with flexible days.

Under RN supervision you will manage medications, monitor residents, supervise CNAs, and communicate with families and doctors. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and leadership in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold an active LPN license in Oregon.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or geriatric care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration and documentation.
• Health monitoring and routine assessments.
• Memory care focused care and behavioral support.
• Execute care plans and ISPs under supervision.
• Supervise CNAs and care partners during shifts.
• Communicate with families and physicians about resident status.
• Conduct resident assessments and contribute to plan updates.
• Provide training and mentorship on dementia care and safety.
• Ensure daily routines support resident well-being and reduce stress.
• Engage in problem solving and respond to emergencies.
