Qualifications

  • Must maintain professional nursing license.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid Driver’s license or state ID.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen.
  • Background results within company standards.
  • CPR & First aid training (or must complete within 30 days). Certification repeated every 2 years.
  • Requires strong computer and Internet research skills, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organization and prioritization of work.

Responsibilities

  • Check in monthly meds for houses under responsibility.
  • Disposal of discontinued medications.
  • Initial assessments of new residents within 72 hours of admission; follow-up within 24 hours of post hospital visit.
  • Daily verification of documentation of medical records.
  • Ensure appointments and transportation are arranged; documentation of missed appointments.
  • Administer shots when necessary.
  • Ongoing training of staff regarding medication documentation.
  • Understand all policies and procedures in the policy and procedure manual.
