Job summary

Orange Grove Center is seeking an LPN to organize and implement nursing interventions, aiding individuals toward greater independence and wellness.

You will provide nursing services to assigned individuals, communicate care plans to staff, and ensure MD/NP orders are carried out in compliance with TN Nurse Practice Act. On-site support, MAR management, and monthly reviews are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN Nursing Program.
• Minimum one year of relevant LPN clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with Developmental Disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services for assigned individuals and support to direct care staff.
• Communicate individuals physician and nursing care plans to staff; implement MD/NP orders.
• Assist in examination and treatment by interviewing individuals to obtain medical history.
• Monitor documentation and complete required forms promptly.
• Transcribe information onto chart records and take vital signs.
• Perform glucose monitoring and other tests as ordered by physician.
• Respond to individuals in acute distress; manage MARs and medication reviews.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide guidance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
