Recover-Care in Kansas seeks an LPN to serve as Med Records/Staff Development Coordinator. This full-time role reports to the Administrator and Nursing leadership, focusing on training program development, clinical skills promotion, and accurate medical records management.

The Coordinator will oversee orientation, ongoing education, and competency assessments, while fostering a positive work culture through staff recognition and regulatory compliance adherence.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Experience in clinical training and staff development.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (HIPAA, healthcare standards).

Responsibilities

• Training Development & Coordination: Develop a comprehensive training plan focused on clinical skills and compliance.
• Orientation & Onboarding: Plan and oversee onboarding with emphasis on resident care and policies.
• Ongoing Education & Refresher Training: Implement continuing education and refresher programs.
• Clinical Competency Evaluation & Development: Assess and document staff competencies.
• Flexible Training Scheduling: Schedule sessions to maximize participation.
• Staff Acknowledgment & Recognition: Promote staff recognition and engagement.
• Training Records & Documentation: Maintain complete training records and materials.
• Medical Records Management & Auditing: Audit medical records for accuracy and compliance.
• Medical Record Request Processing: Handle HIPAA-compliant record requests.
• Responding to Inquiries: Address inquiries regarding records and training in a timely manner.
• Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned.
