Job summary

Advocate Health in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time role in Family Medicine. You will prepare patients, perform basic lab procedures, assist during procedures, administer medications, and maintain exam rooms.

The position offers a 7am–4pm schedule, 40 hours per week, and a pay range of $21.85 to $32.80 per hour, with eligible benefits. No experience required; completion of an accredited LPN program is necessary.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 45 days unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and document vital signs and health information.
• Perform lab procedures using aseptic technique and infection control.
• Assist physicians during procedures and surgeries.
• Administer medications per orders and manage IV therapy as allowed.
• Educate patients and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and prepare equipment.
